Before your visit
Reservation questions, answered
Table reservations, shared Train Car seating, and private events have different arrangements. Here is what to know before you book.
Does a Train Car table reservation book the whole room?
No. A regular Train Car reservation reserves seating for your party in a shared dining room. Other parties may be seated there at the same time. For exclusive use of the Train Car, submit a catered event inquiry so our team can confirm the space and arrangements.
How do I request private use of the Train Car?
Choose Plan a Catered Event, select Train Car, and tell us you are requesting private use. An inquiry does not hold the room or confirm a booking. Availability, the space, menu, pricing, and payment arrangements must be confirmed with our team.
How many people can I reserve a table for?
Online table reservations are for 2–12 guests per reservation in every area. For more than 12 guests, use the catered event inquiry. Please do not split a larger group into separate table reservations.
How many guests can the Train Car accommodate?
The Train Car has a total capacity of 25 guests. A regular online reservation is still limited to 12 guests, and multiple parties can share the room within that total capacity. For a larger party or exclusive use, request a catered event; our team will confirm a suitable arrangement.
Which seating areas can I reserve?
Choose Main Dining, Bar, Train Car, or Patio when you book. Availability depends on your date, time, party size, and existing bookings. Bar reservations are for tables, not individual barstools. Individual table assignments are managed by our team.
What days and times can I book?
Table reservation start times run from 11 am through 8 pm, seven days a week, in Eastern time. Reservations from 11 am to 3 pm do not require a $5 deposit per seat. Later start times include a $5-per-guest deposit applied toward your bill. These are reservation start times, rather than the restaurant's full operating hours. Choose from the times shown for your party and seating area.
How long is a regular table reservation?
The default seating is 2 hours. For a gathering needing more time, catering, or private space, discuss your plans with our event team before booking.
How far ahead do I need to reserve?
Parties of 2–6 need at least three hours' notice. Parties of 7–12 need at least four hours' notice. Availability is checked for your selected seating time; same-day bookings are offered when the notice requirement and table availability allow.
How far in advance can I book?
Regular table reservations can be made up to 90 days ahead. For an event outside that window, send a catered event inquiry to discuss your plans with our team.
How much is the reservation deposit?
Start times from 11 am through 3 pm, every day, do not require a deposit. The reservation is confirmed when you submit it. Start times after 3 pm through 8 pm require a $5-per-guest deposit applied toward your bill. For example, a 5 pm reservation for four guests requires $20. Catered event pricing and payment arrangements are planned separately with our team.
When is my table reservation confirmed?
For an 11 am–3 pm start time, your table is confirmed when you complete the reservation. No deposit is collected. For a later start time, the reservation is confirmed after the required deposit is paid. Selecting a time or entering your contact information alone does not complete a reservation.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Reservations from 11 am through 3 pm have no deposit to refund. For later start times, cancel at least 24 hours before your table reservation to qualify for a deposit refund. Cancellations inside that window do not qualify under the standard policy. Use the reservation management link supplied with your booking; contact our team if you need help. Catered event arrangements are separate.
What if my party is running late?
We hold your table reservation for 30 minutes after its start time. Please contact Spirits if you are running late. After that grace period, your tables may be released; an extension is not guaranteed.
What if my preferred area or time is unavailable?
Try another seating area, time, or date. Some tables are kept available for walk-in service, and private events can limit online availability. An unavailable online time does not guarantee a walk-in table. Regular reservations are made online rather than by phone.
Is catering only for groups larger than twelve?
No. Smaller groups can also inquire about catering or private space. Choose Reserve a Table for a regular dining visit, or Plan a Catered Event when you want to discuss an event menu, a private gathering, or exclusive space.
Does submitting an event inquiry confirm my date?
No. Your inquiry starts a planning conversation. Our team must confirm availability, the requested area, menu, pricing, and payment arrangements before the event is booked. No payment is collected on the event inquiry form.
Does the regular $5 table deposit cover a catered event?
No. When a regular table reservation has a deposit, it is $5 per guest and is applied toward that dining bill. Start times from 11 am through 3 pm do not collect one. Catered event deposits and pricing are arranged separately with our team. A regular Train Car table reservation does not purchase exclusive use of the room.
